Will my saved web 'favorites' from IE be able to be imported into FireFox with no hassles?

Yes.

Actually, most web browsers let you export your
favorites (bookmarks) as an HTML page.

Likewise, most web browsers let you import your
favorites (bookmarks) from an HTML page.

I had some issues transferring from Chrome to Firefox, ended up having to use an older bookmarks export from Opera instead and fill in the blanks. IE shouldn't be a problem though.

I've recently switched to chrome and noticed a very useful feature. You create a google account. Import you bookmarks from IE and Firefox and once chrome has them any other Pc you install Chrome on you will be able to automatically import/sync your bookmarks from your account.

the infamous google account.

I wonder if with their new "privacy policy" they
have access to your favorites "bookmarks" to
see where you go online often.
